Drehle and Bischoff finish off high school careers in All Star game
Congratulations to Mikel Drehle and Caleb Bischoff of the Falcons who finished off their high school footbal careers last weekend at the 39th Annual Lions All Star Football game at the University of Central Missouri's Kennedy Stadium.
Caleb, who's on his way to Truman University in the fall played on the victorious Blue team along with Justin Heiser of School of the Osage and Troy Hentges from South Callaway.
Mikel Drehle played for the Gold team. He led the way for the Gold offense gaining 57-yards on two catches. I also noticed on the highlights, he played some defensive back as well. Teammates from the area included Sam Christensen, Devon Gibson and Noah Braun from Fulton, Bailey Jelinek from Warsaw, and Cory Hanger from South Callaway. Hanger scored the Gold's first touchdown in a 30-13 loss.
Mikel is on his way to his dad's alma mater, Missouri Valley College in Marshall.
Congratulations to these fine former Falcons and we wish them good luck in their football careers to come!
